To persevere over a jolly bit of pizza
Earlier today I was pretty much all:
That’s IT! I GIVE UP! I can’t take it anymore!
God didn’t mean for nested_attributes to be understood!
If he did, I’d understand them. Because I’m that awesome. So I’m going to just go back to the old way I did it. At least it worked!
Then I ate a baby-pizza and all of a sudden I was like
There are no obstacles. There are only problems waiting to get trampled.
RAWR RENEWED SPIRT ACTIVATE.
Boomboombadoom REFACTOR. REFACTOR. REFACTOR.
Eventually I came up with this lovely lady:
http://pastie.org/1171503
She is beautiful *sniffles*, and I love her.
So I am practically writing this with one practical purpose:
DON’T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS.
DREAMER-POWER-UP-STAR. ACTIVATE ON!
Well now, how bout that cup of tea?

On a side related untangent:
Nested Attributes weren’t that hard to figure out. I don’t like that update_attributes “saves” it on the model. So you have to call @character.reload, or @character will end up filled with bad data.
Regardless, it was a minor hiccup.
I hope to skinny up the controllers eventually, but I’m taking life one ‘git commit -a’ at a time!
