Letter I just sent to Facebook.
I reported an advertisement - that they run - for the e-mail friend finder.
It advertised that a good friend, and a second profile (for a stuffed animal that makes public appearances) “used the friend finder to find their friends!” and because of this, I should also use the friend finder.
Not only do I find the logic sickening, but one “friend” is actually a profile I operate. He doesn’t have a functional e-mail account (0 contacts); furthermore he has never used the friend finder.
The second friend is publicly speaking out against the friend finder on his wall.
Facebook grabs enough information about us - they can’t even pick 2 friends that have /actually/ used the friend finder? That’s kind of sad.
